Why Paradise Falls?

If you are familiar with the animated Pixar movie, Up, you know that the main characters, Ellie and Carl Frederickson, were always trying to save for a trip to "Paradise Falls", the mystical location they always dreamed about. As life would have it, those dreams were constantly dashed because something always required their attention...and money. Every time their savings jug filled up, they would need to smash it open and start all over again. Their trip to Paradise Falls was always just out of reach.

One day I was lamenting online that I feel like we will never get to go to our "Paradise Falls" because something was always coming up that required us to dip into our own savings. In response to this, an old classmate of mine replied, "what if you are already at your Paradise Falls and you just aren't appreciating it?" That really struck a chord with us, and from that point forward 18 Hardy Street was nicknamed Paradise Falls.
