The Danvers Mug I will be participating in a vendor fair in Beverly MA on November 9th and I'm working on a design similar to this Danvers MA mug I created earlier this year. I'm putting together a list of historical figures, landmarks, and favorite places in town, but need input from the people of Beverly. Although it is mid-summer, I am already looking ahead to the holidays. The month of November is going to be busier than usual for me, as 3 out of 5 Saturdays are booked with markets, but I am really excited to have a full calendar. Typically, I spread them out between November and December, but this time I will be able to market some Thanksgiving items as well as Christmas gifts, plus still have time to work on custom orders. I have added a new market, Crafts for the Courageous, along with my returning favorites at Beverly High School and the Danvers YMCA. All three are posted on the events page of JoatmonCreations.com with links to their official sites. I hope if you are local to the North Shore area you have a chance to stop by one of them to see what a variety of vendors have to offer.

Often when I post something to Facebook, I get comments saying, "what about making this....?" I love hearing feedback on what people are looking for and I always try my hardest to make it (the few exceptions would be items that are limited due to my machine's capabilities). It would be great for people to post their ideas here as well. If you are ever looking for something handmade that you think I can try doing, please leave a comment in this forum! I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Many of my items are customizable and I'd love to post samples that show what can be done. Unfortunately, I don't always need several different ornaments with my own dog's name or a basketball ornament for my son, who doesn't play basketball. I am thinking of adding a page to my shop for items that need to be customized and I'll offer a 10% discount for someone to order it and allow me to use their customization for the advertisement. This would mean I'd love to sell these items pretty quickly after they have been posted so I can get the photo done and on my site. This is similar to what some people do with their baby items. They offer them at a discount so people will take a photo of their infant wearing their designs. I am struggling to find a name for this page or how to describe it accurately. If you can think of a way for me to promote this and what to call it, please let me know

Hello all! I've been busy to start off the new year, so thank you to all that have placed orders! Normally January and February are slow months after the holidays, but I love that everyone is still thinking about projects for me. Most items have been mugs, which I love doing right now! They really are a year-round item, and with my new printing equipment, they can be customized so many different ways! I just wanted to see if anyone had ideas for some new designs - not necessarily for mugs, but for anything you would like to see in the shop, especially as St. Patrick's Day, Mardi Gras, and Easter are approaching. I'm itching to make some new pillow covers, too. I'll be adding a fun gnome holiday one today and I have been designing some others that I think people will love. Share some ideas here and maybe they will become a reality soon!
